Renewing your Arkansas Concealed Handgun Carry License is simple.

Your Arkansas Concealed Handgun Carry License remains valid for five years from the date it was issued.

Arkansas does not require you to retake the full class to renew your CHCL license. The Arkansas State Police mandates that renewal applicants complete a live-fire training session, which we offer as part of a personalized, private 30 minute lesson on the range. This ensures you not only meet the requirements but also receive one-on-one guidance to maintain your skills and confidence. We will also spend some time reviewing significant changes to CHCL laws and regulations

Requirements:

• Must be within 90 days of Expiration
• Must be no more than 6 months expired
• It is recommended, but not required, to complete your Renewal Application before your appointment. Use this LINK to start the online renewal process with the Arkansas State Police.
• Complete a live-fire session with an ASP Certified Firearms Instructor.

Gear

• Semi-automatic Pistol or Revolver
  *Pistols are available for a fee, please coordinate this with your instructor in advance.
• 2 Magazines (if bringing a semiautomatic pistol)
• 50-100 Rounds of Ammunition (Actual live-fire round count is dependent on your skill level)
• Comfortable clothing suitable for standing and shooting. Open toed shoes and low-cut clothing are not acceptable for training. A baseball-style hat is recommended.
• Eye & Ear protection
  *Basic eye and ear protection are available to purchase but feel free to bring your own protective gear if you have them.
• NO HOLSTERS
