In my 11 years of military experience serving in the U.S. Army, I qualified expert Rifle and Pistol and served as an instructor for the Armor Officer Basic program for five years. As an Armor Crewman(tank gunner) I deployed to different regions around the world, including the Middle East, Korea, and Germany. This background ensures that you are learning from someone with both practical and instructional expertise.
In addition, I continue to seek out professional firearms training to ensure I stay relevant and hone my skills as an instructor.
My teaching style is designed to be comprehensive and engaging. I believe in combining traditional instruction with hands-on practice and interactive sessions. This approach allows you to not only understand the theory behind firearms, safety, and shooting but also to apply these concepts in real world scenarios. My goal is to help you gain confidence and competence in handling firearms, whether you’re a beginner or seeking advanced training.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy engaging in a variety of activities. I’m a competitive USPSA, Steel Challenge, & IDPA shooter and enjoy riding my Harley-Davidson motorcycle around Northwest Arkansas. I also believe in giving back to the community, which is why I volunteer with veterans groups. Family is important to me, and I cherish the time I spend with my loved ones.
I’m excited to share my knowledge with you and look forward to helping you develop your skills. If you have any questions or special requests during our training sessions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Let’s work together to ensure a safe and rewarding learning experience.
